a) a portrait of Franz Ferdinand d'Este, who bought Konopiště from the Lobkowicz family in 1887. The new owner rebuilt the chateau into its present form, equipped the interiors in a modern way, introduced electricity and water supply. He founded a castle garden and carried out park modifications.
b) an extensive collection of trophies of Ferdinand d'Este, who was a passionate hunter. There are 4,055 trophies in the castle.
